The God Who Sees Me

For the woman who feels unseen, overwhelmed, or alone

A 3- Day Mother's Day Devotional

In this 3-day experience, you will:

  • Be reminded that you are seen by God

  • Release the weight of feeling overlooked

  • Renew your heart with biblical truth

  • Find peace in God’s presence in this season

Blessings My Sister,

Motherhood is beautiful…
but it can also feel overwhelming, lonely, and unseen.

There are moments when you give so much of yourself,
yet quietly wonder if anyone truly sees what you carry.

This short devotional is for you.

Through the story of Hagar, you will be reminded of a powerful truth:

God sees you.

Even in the wilderness.
Even in the moments no one else understands.
Even now.

This is a guided 3-day experience. You can move through it at your own pace, or take one day at a time.

This is a gentle space for reflection, not pressure. These sessions are committed in prayer for you.

Take a moment...

feel your heart beat...

breath in...

and release your precious breath of God,

and know that He is with you...

...begin this 3 day experience.

Day 1 - GOD SEES YOU IN THE WILDERNESS

You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me
Genesis 16:13 (KJV)

Reflection

Father God,

Thank You that You see me, even in the places I feel overlooked.
Help me trust that Your eyes are upon me in love.

Meet me in my quiet places and remind me I am not alone.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Scripture

Sis, I know, there are moments in life when you can feel completely unseen.

As a woman with or without children, you may be carrying responsibilities no one fully understands…
making sacrifices no one acknowledges…
holding emotions you don’t always have space to express.

Hagar found herself in that place.

Rejected.
Overlooked.
Alone in the wilderness.

Yet it was there, not in comfort, not in recognition, that God met her.

He did not overlook her condition.
He did not dismiss her pain.
He revealed Himself to her as the God who sees.

And today, that same truth reaches you.

You are not invisible.
You are not forgotten.
God sees you, fully, intimately, and compassionately.

Devotional

What area of your life has felt unseen or unacknowledged?

Prayer

Write it honestly. This is a safe place to begin.

Day 2 - YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN

What have you been carrying that you need to release to God?

Scripture

The Lord has heard your affliction.
Genesis 16:11 (KJV)

Devotional

It is one thing to be seen…
but another to believe you are remembered.

Hagar was not only seen—she was heard.

God spoke into her situation with purpose and promise.

You may feel delayed.
You may feel overlooked.
You may feel like your prayers have gone unanswered.

But heaven has not gone silent concerning you.

God hears what you whisper…
what you cry…
even what you cannot put into words.

And more than that, He responds with intention.

Your story is not random.

Your season is not wasted.

You are not forgotten.

Reflection

Prayer

Father God,

Thank You that You hear me.
Even when I feel overlooked, You are attentive to every detail of my life.

Help me trust that You are working, even when I cannot see it.

Strengthen my heart to believe that I am not forgotten.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day- 3 WALKING FORWARD SEEN BY GOD

Scripture

After the wilderness…
after the tears…
after the uncertainty…

God opened Hagar’s eyes.

Provision was already there.

What she needed, God had already prepared.

Sometimes the shift is not that God suddenly moves,
but that He allows you to see what He has already placed before you.

You are not walking forward alone.

You are walking forward seen, known, and guided.

And even in this season of motherhood, or another season, whether full, stretched, or uncertain, you are being sustained by the One who sees beyond what you feel.

Lift your eyes.

There is more ahead than what you’ve been focusing on behind.

What is one area where you need God to help you "see differently"?

Father God,

Open my eyes.

Help me see what You are doing in my life.

Help me to recognize Your provision, Your presence, and Your guidance.
Give me strength to walk forward knowing I am seen by You.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Then God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water…

Genesis 21:19 (KJV)

Devotional

Reflection

Prayer

My dear sister,

You may have entered this space feeling unseen…
but you do not leave the same.

You are:

  • Seen by God

  • Heard by God

  • Held by God

And your story is still unfolding.

With much love & prayer
